Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will facilitate the delivery of robotic process automation (RPA) projects through the mobilisation, definition, development, and deployment phases. Your responsibilities will include project management, resource planning, stakeholder management, and communication planning. You will work closely with our team of award-winning business and technical specialists and leaders. 

Expected Activities:

  • Serve as principal point-of-contact for the client and their team.
  • Lead several concurrent projects that involve consultants, developers, and clients.
  • Establish the Project Management Plan, tracking milestones, and coordinating meetings with client stakeholders as aligned with the delivery operating model.
  • Understand business and technical requirements to effectively coordinate/document process definition, solution design, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities with client stakeholders.
  • Facilitate resource planning activities, including assignment, onboarding, equipment provisioning, and user access to target applications.
  • Coordinate the development, review, and submission of RPA milestone deliverables (i.e. PDD, SDD, ODI, and BPA releases)
  • Mitigate risks identified by the Delivery Manager to help avoid development, testing, or deployment roadblocks
  • Provide regular weekly status updates, including risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, defects, and change requests logs to the client and Program Manager
  • Identify, catalogue, and archive reusable code assets and coordinate knowledge-sharing sessions between internal teams.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree focused on Information Technology or Information Management or equivalent education and experience.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of project management experience.  
  • Have excellent planning, problem-solving, project management and leadership skills.
  • Understand IT delivery methodologies (ITIL, Agile, Lean, etc)
  • Prior experience in leading similar projects in robotics process automation (i.e. Blue Prism, UiPath, or Automation Anywhere)
  • Leadership skills to inspire co-workers to attain goals and pursue excellence.
  • Understand the drivers of value, including the ability to size and prioritise large-scale initiatives across businesses and functions.
  • Bonus Points—Any prior work with OCR technologies (e.g., ABBYY, IBM Datacap, etc.).
